Dr Matthew Scheier
Dr. Matthew Scheier is the founder and co owner of Zuma Health.
Dr Matt graduated from Macquarie University in 2004 with a Masters in Chiropractic and a B. of Applied Clinical Science.
His approach is holistic, safe, gentle and effective. He offers a range of techniques including TRT, NET, Gonstead, Applied Kinesiology, Trigger Point Release Therapy, Webster technique and Pregnancy adjusting. “My main focus in caring for the individual is to bring the body into a resting state where balance, circulation and function are at an optimum.”
When he is not in clinic, Dr Matt loves surfing, reading, listening to and playing music, studying philosophy, and coaching people toward personal mastery.
Dr Daniel Bank
Dr Daniel Bank is an American trained Chiropractor with 21 years of experience is the newest part of the Zuma Health team. Educated at the prestigious Life University in Atlanta, Georgia. He practiced in the United States for seven years and then made the big trip over to Australia in 2005. After serving in central Queensland in a large family Chiropractic clinic for over 10 years, he moved down to Brisbane. For the last 3 years he has been the owner and Chiropractor of BodyWise Chiropractic in Mt Gravatt. Lani is the clinic manager, co owner and a practitioner at Zuma Health. She has proudly and lovingly been a part of the Zuma Health family since 2011.
Lani holds a Diploma of Health -Yoga Teacher, a Certificate of Traditional Thai massage, Reiki certified, Diploma of Permaculture and also Kinesiology. Her wide array of training and in-depth knowledge allows her to treat and help guide patients in a large variety of ways towards their optimal health (something Lani is very passionate about).
Lani enjoys travelling, reading and deepening and exploring her spiritual understanding. She loves and values her family and friends which include her two fur babies Sasha and Pirelli.

Suishan (angel) Zhong
Angel graduated from Q academy with an advanced diploma of Myotherapy and a diploma of remedial massage. She has also trained in China as part of the TCM university second medical centre in acupuncture.
She is passionate about providing the utmost care to her patients and working with their bodies to improve overall health, bodily function and quality of life.
She specialises in the functional movement of the body, musculoskeletal motion, orthopedic assessment, pain release, athletic recovery, strength and conditioning to name a few!
Angel is friendly, enthusiastic and loves spending time moving her body in nature and can often be found doing handstands at the beach.
Jeanine has been working for Zuma Health since the beginning of 2018 bringing with her over 16 years worth of experience in working with chiropractors and other health practitioners across Victoria and Queensland.
She is the first point of contact for our patients wellness experience here at Zuma Health as one of two vitalistic facilitators at the clinic. Jeanine skilfully directs, find solutions and holds the space for our patients and doctors alike.
Jeanine is warm, friendly and passionate about helping people throughout their health journey. She loves working for Zuma Health as it is a way for her to spread love, make a difference in peoples lives and give back to her community.
In her spare time Jeanine loves to read, go for walks, play with her dog Bronx and spend time with her partner and grand children.
